THE FIRM

Regional law firm with offices across West Yorkshire has an opportunity for paralegal to join its highly regarded team of corporate solicitors. With a strong presence across the Yorkshire market, this firm is a leading commercial practice which offers first class legal advice to its loyal client base. Due to growth, the corporate team is seeking a paralegal to assist the team with a range of matters.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the team of hardworking and skilled corporate solicitors, you will play an integral part in assisting on a range of corporate matters. This will involve the following;
· Assist on a range of transactional matters specifically relating to acquisitions and disposals, management buy out and buy ins, intra-group reorganisations, share buybacks, share option schemes and agreements, and terms and conditions of sales
· Drafting documents, undertaking due diligence, disclosure and attending completions
· Attending meetings and drafting board minutes
· Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

This role would suit a paralegal that has over 6 months experience working in corporate law. If you have previous transactional experience in another discipline, you may be considered. You will need to have the following;

· A minimum of 6 months experience as a paralegal in a corporate/commercial department
· Able to use own initiative, work to tight deadlines and demonstrate commercial awareness
· LL Law degree and ideally completed the LPC however this is not essential
