Paralegal

A great opportunity for an ambitious Paralegal has arisen within the Tax team of a Legal 500 firm. This is a permanent position based in Manchester.

The Role

In joining the team as a Paralegal, you will work closely with a Tax Partner and deal with a wide range of work; from corporate support to property transactions including SDLT and VAT, share schemes and all-round Corporate Tax advisory work.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and negotiating documents
• Preparing Tax clearances and other correspondence with HMRC
• Drafting advice notes and reports for clients
• Publishing articles to support wider business development activities

The Candidate

The firm is looking for a Paralegal with:

• Experience in Corporate or Tax Law (ideally)
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
• A good attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team

What’s on Offer?

The Corporate Tax Paralegal will be rewarded with a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum. There is plenty of scope for career development, with plenty of training and support provided.
