This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced company commercial solicitor to join a highly regarded company providing medical diagnostic devices near Buckingham. Managing contracts and other legal matters at this long-established company, you will join a team who are experts in the provision of products and services for the medical and healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
• Drafting contracts – clinical trials, procurement, customer and distributor agreements
• Preparing variations to contracts
• Reviewing commercial contracts
• Advising on legal T&C’s
• Reviewing proposals
• Negotiating agreements with customers and suppliers
• Compliance matters
• Maintenance of IP assets and registers
• Negotiating authorisation for marketing activities
• Undertaking approval of material according to legal and ethical considerations
The Candidate
• Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in company commercial matters
• Extensive contracts experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to review legal documents such as tenders, NDA’s and other agreements
• Expertise in providing guidance on legal and regulatory matters to board members and stakeholders
• Skills in risk management, contract law and regulatory affairs through liaising with subcontractors and professional consultants
