Legal Counsel - Commercial Contract Lawyer

Our client is an international company, looking for an in-house Legal counsel to come in and join their growing company. The key to the role will be dealing with the day to day legal matters faced by the business. A candidate with with skills and experience in company commercial and commercial contract law is required.

Based in East Sussex, the successful candidate will be dealing with legal issues including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of complex commercial contracts
• Data protection, regulatory, compliance, anti-bribery and other similar legal matters
• Other general company commercial and corporate legal matters
• Other exposure to important and complex transactional work will be provided as the role develops

This is an important recruit for the organisation and will offer the opportunity to progress your career far more than equivalent roles at this PQE level.

You will need to show that you are self-sufficient, can hit the ground running and stand on your own two feet.

Our client envisages that candidates with 1+ years PQE plus will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
