This South West Legal 500 firm is looking for an additional corporate solicitor to join its successful Bristol Team.
You will be joining a very busy department that is committed to growing and developing their offering. This team plays to each other's strengths. Although you will be Bristol based, you will have very regular cross over with colleagues, partners and solicitors from all across the South West and beyond.
Historically this department has very strong links within the technology sectors but more recent wins see them branching out into more diverse emerging markets including life sciences & digital health.
As a junior-mid level corporate lawyer you will have genuine client contact from day one. The partners here do not hoard client relationships for themselves but on the contrary will actively encourage you to build your own relationships with both existing and new clients. How refreshing!
You will be supervised as much or little as you need. Your work will be mainly transactional rather than general advice. You will work on M&A and private equity and venture capital matters on behalf of investors and sellers.
This corporate solicitor vacancy may suit a relocator looking to retain a quality caseload outside of London. The deals need to be completed but there is no culture of presenteeism here. A healthy work/life balance is held in very high regard.
Unusually, this practice is not top heavy with partners, making your progression and career development perhaps easier than within some of Bristol's other top firms.
