The Role
This is a truly exciting opportunity for a Senior Solicitor to join Brunel University London during a time of growth and change, and as we develop our newly created in-house Legal Services team.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of working at a senior level, to work collaboratively with the Colleges and the Professional Services Directorates and handle a diverse range of legal, governance and compliance issues, whilst managing legal and reputational risk within a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate for this Senior Solicitor role will be a Qualified UK Solicitor or Barrister and be a member of the Law Society. The ideal candidate will also have experience of working in the HEI or public sector, as well as extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiating. A sound understanding of contract and consumer law, data protection and public law is essential, in addition to having excellent interpersonal and organisation skills.
