An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Legal Counsel to join a large global manufacturing company.  

The Role:

Working within a small team and reporting into the Legal Director & UK Group Secretary, you will be responsible for;

  • Advising the business on a range of legal issues focusing on company commercial.
  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial contracts, including; supply and outsourcing agreements, terms and conditions, sponsorship agreements, licensing agreements, NDA's and distribution agreements
  • Supporting the business on additional legal work, including; contract, property, litigation, advertising, data protection, product liability and intellectual property
  • Assisting with company secretarial duties.
  • Managing and liaising with external advisers

Key Requirements:

  • UK Qualified lawyer working in Private practice or In-House.
  • Ideally NQ-3 years PQE, but all candidates will be considered.
  • Good exposure to commercial contract and corporate law.
  • Proficient at drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to organise workload, and be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved
