Junior Legal Counsel, Boutique Investment Bank

This boutique investment bank has a strong reputation globally in its chosen niche markets.  The London office, based a stone’s throw from the Bank of England, serves as their gateway to Europe. They are consistently expanding and are currently looking to recruit a junior legal counsel to join the small legal team.  Your varied role will include advising on regulatory matters, commercial contracts as well as some broader corporate and sales & trading aspects. 

The ideal candidate will have trained at a well regarded law firm in London and gained experience in the banking/financial services sector.  Candidates from a variety of related practice areas will be considered but most important is the sector understanding coupled with business acumen and strong problem solving skills.  This will best suit a bright and quick thinking lawyer with 1-3 years’ pqe although strong NQs will be considered.

Chinese language skills (Mandarin or Cantonese) would strongly benefit your application.
