A highly regarded law firm in Bedford is currently seeking an Immigration Solicitor to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.
About the Role
The appointed Immigration Solicitor will report to the Supervising Partner, taking on a varied caseload of both private and business immigration work. This will include:
- Visa (Business, Work, Student, Family, Visitors)
- Sponsor Licence Applications
- Advice on migrant employees
- Settlement in the UK/ Indefinite Leave to Remain
- Extension applications
- British Citizenship
- Human Rights & Asylum
- Deportation & Removals
- Subject Access Requests
- EEA Applications
Candidate Requirements
The firm is looking for an Immigration Lawyer who can ideally demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE in the relevant area of law
- Proven experience of handling own caseload
- Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines
- Good drafting and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills and technical ability
