Housing Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Lawyer to join a local authority based in the North West.

The successful Housing Lawyer will take on a varied caseload dealing with most areas of social housing law, including, but no exclusive to:

• Anti-social behaviour injunction applications
• Claims for possession
• Housing disrepair
• Estate management issues

Other duties include:

• Conducting proceedings and acting as an advocate in the County Court and Magistrates' Court
• Managing a case load with minimum supervision

This role will begin on a 6 month basis initially, with the strong possibility of the role continuing beyond that.
