The Role:
Great opportunity to take a key role in a growing in-house legal team. Possible career prospects for progression to GC within 3-5 years.
Our client is a well-known engineering business going through significant product and global market expansion.
The legal team are key in supporting that growth and development and this role will take a leading role in strengthening the business on a range of legal and compliance matters. You will:
- Review, draft and negotiate key cross-border agreements with customers, suppliers, authorities and other stakeholders
- Advise on corporate governance, employment, IP and dispute management
- Close collaboration with the management team structuring legal and compliance programmes across multi-jurisdictions
- Develop corporate policies and training programmes
Key Requirements:
- UK Qualified solicitor or barrister with minimum of 6 years* PQE
- Trained with a highly regarded law firm or in-house
- Strong experience in drafting/negotiating cross-border contracts
- Ideally experience working within the engineering sector (or with clients in that sector)
- A self-starter, with the gravitas to work with senior management
