Safeguarding Childcare Advocate

LAW Absolute is working with a local authority based in London who is seeking a Safeguarding Childcare Advocate for an initial period of three months.

The successful Childcare Lawyer/Advocate will be required to attend court and represent the council by undertaking advocacy within the Safeguarding Children’s Team. You will be required to advise on routine and complex legal matters and conduct advocacy up to 10 day final contested hearings.

Due to the urgent nature of the role, it is essential that you are available on no more than two weeks notice. Previous local government experience would be advantageous. It is essential you have a current practising certificate for this role.
