Senior In-house Commercial Lawyer

A rare and exciting opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer has arisen at a global financial services heavyweight in Birmingham.

As part of strategic growth the established and highly regarded UK Legal team are looking to appoint their first in-house senior commercial lawyer into their thriving Birmingham office.

This is a pivotal role which will support the UK & Ireland business (circa 17,000 employees) with a clear focus on Commercial and TMT work to include all aspects of technology law, outsourcing, software and hardware agreements, service agreements, e-commerce, data protection, IT security, new technology, creation and exploitation of media content, brand reputation, data centres and industry specific commercial matters.

The ideal candidate will be a commercial lawyer with TMT experience and a minimum of six years' experience gained working at a reputable international/national firm or in-house. You will be technically excellent, have a proven ability to establish a high degree of trust and respect with clients/stakeholders and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
