Business Affairs Consultants

Remote & Flexible Working

Have you enjoyed working remotely, seeing more of family and friends, and leaving the commute behind in recent times? Do you dream of working that way for the long term? Do you have industry contacts and like the idea of leaving the corporate world behind? Is the idea of working as a lone consultant holding you back? Or perhaps you are already a consultant, but missing being part of a team of like-minded professionals?

Mint & Co, a Business Affairs practice for the entertainment and creative industries, is looking to expand its team of Business Affairs Consultants, the Mint Collective. This is a full-time, fully remote role ideal for a private practice Lawyer with in-house experience.

About Mint & Co

We are a collaborative, sociable and friendly team, providing shared know-how, social events and your back-office needs - invoicing, credit control, admin, IT and pitching support. If you like the sound of this, please read on!

Mint & Co has been disrupting the traditional media legal and business affairs industry since our inception in 2016, with remote and flexible working at the heart of our ethos. Our Business Affairs Consultants all work remotely, flexibly and non-exclusively, allowing them to build a true work-life balance and choose the work style that best suits their lives. If you’d like to start building - or further expand - your client base, with the support of a central team and a group of like-minded professionals, we’d love to hear from you.

About You

We are looking to speak with existing Consultants as well as Lawyers who are looking for a change of pace. Your application to our Business Affairs Consultant post should demonstrate:

  • 8+ years’ PQE (or the equivalent experience in the industry in a legal and/or business affairs role).
  • Contacts in one or more of the following sectors: TV production (scripted & non-scripted), TV & content distribution, broadcast, film, podcasts, immersive, branded content, advertising, ad tech, events, apps, games, music or music tech.
  • Desire to build a client base or further build on an existing client base.
  • That you are professional yet down to earth, a team player, friendly, approachable, collaborative with clients, willing to share knowhow with colleagues, a self-starter and creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial approach.
