Commercial Litigation Solicitor sought for in-house general litigation role in Cheshire. This is a rare opportunity for a litigator to join an established in-house legal team at a reputable and industry leading company.

Our client is a multi-million turnover company with thousands of employees and a leading position in its industry sector. The organisation is headquartered in the North West (Cheshire) and its legal department is both long-established and highly regarded.


Role - In-house Commercial Litigation Solicitor:

A new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join the legal department. Operating alongside other dedicated lawyers, the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will undertake a broad general commercial litigation caseload of predominantly defended work, with the aim of protecting the company and its interests.

Duties will be varied and exptensive, and are likely to include: handling disputes, dealing with complaints, instigating and managing litigation, strategy and advice, compliance, regulatory, GDPR, training and ad hoc projects. You could be dealing with general commercial, copyright, debt recovery, property, misrepresentation and other varied forms of litigation.


About you:

Applications are encouraged from commercial litigation, property litigation or similarly commercially trained litigation solicitors who are open to undertaking a varied mix of litigated work in-house. Alternatively, our client will consider applications from other types of litigators (personal injury solicitors / civil litigators) who are actively seeking an opportunity to refocus their career into the commercial arena.

Applicants should have at least 1 years' PQE and you should come from a good general commercial practice or equivalent in-house team.
