Employment Associate - 12-18 month FTC - London - 4+PQE

Our client, a leading international firm is looking for an experienced Employment lawyer with upwards of 4 years' PQE to join their Employment team for a contract between 12-18 months.

The successful individual will be involved in handling a varied and interesting caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters for respondent and claimant client. The successful individuals must also be prepared to be involved in corporate support matters for the firm's busy corporate and energy teams. Whilst corporate support work will not be the sole focus of the role, it is a key component so candidates must be experienced in handling corporate support matters and be willing to get stuck in.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for instance) and possess relevant experience in the UK
• Ideally have upwards of 4 years' PQE in working within an employment department of a city or international law firm
• Have proven technical legal skills in corporate transactions
• A strong, well-rounded employment advisory background
• The capacity to work autonomously with minimal to no supervision
• An appetite for direct client contact and nurturing client relationships
• The ability to start a new role either immediately or at short notice
