An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a Mayfair based bank.
The successful In House Paralegal will have responsibility for the implementation and execution of all loan facilities which will involve drafting corresponding documentation e.g. facility letters, legal charges, assignment of rental income etc.
The role:
Day-to-day the In House Paralegal will work on a range of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, support the security charging process, ensure properties are charged within agreed timescales and keep property stock lists updated with all title and other relevant legal information. This will involve liaising with clients, preparing Certificates of Title, liaising with banks for syndicated lending, e.g. Loan Market Association (LMA) documentation, rollovers, settlements etc.
About you:
The successful In House Paralegal will have a solid background in Commercial Property, particularly in relation to loans and financing. Key experience includes working with credit agreements, LMA agreements, knowledge of Islamic finance and syndicated lending. Knowledge of the Equation loan system is desirable.
The ideal Commercial Property Paralegal will be someone with a background in Financial Services, ideally from another credit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Real Estate Finance Paralegal to work in a small team and build on their experience in a role with lots of autonomy from the off.
