Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a well-regarded London Borough Council to recruit a locum Childcare Lawyer to join their friendly team.

The assignment will begin on a 3 month basis with a view to go rolling and will be conducted remotely for the foreseeable future.

Our client are seeking a hard-working Childcare Lawyer to come on board to handle the following:

  • 8-10 care cases
  • Some PLO files
  • Conduct advocacy on behalf of the Council
    • Interim review hearings
    • Directions hearings
    • Case management hearings

We are considering candidates from both Public Sector and Private Practice backgrounds, as long as you can demonstrate the required skills. Our client is open to newly qualified lawyers who have public care experience.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will enjoy a varied caseload, competitive hourly rate and very flexible working arrangements, as well as joining a really friendly and supportive team.
