Family Paralegal

Job Title: Family Paralegal

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time or 4 Days Part Time

Location: Manchester

Salary: Dependant on experience

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join their supportive and friendly Family team in Manchester.

The Role:

• Working alongside experienced Family Solicitors and where possible, be involved with all stages of the case, taking part in client meetings and liaising with clients, counsel, the court and third parties on a regular basis.
• Assisting with casework and case file management, drafting legal documents (with supervision), preparing bundles for trial, assisting with the billing process and conducting legal research when required.
• Opportunities to assist in business development projects and attend networking functions.
• Providing administrative support to the Family team when required.
• To comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures.

Person Specifics:

• A few years’ experience within family law
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Be self-motivated and extremely organised
