The Role
The firm are looking for a Construction Litigation Solicitor to join their flourishing Birmingham office.
You will sit as part of the wider Litigation team, working on a varied and interesting caseload covering both residential and commercial construction disputes. The firm boasts a varied and interesting client base including owners, employers, developers, contractors, sub-contractors and construction professionals, including architects and surveyors.
The caseload will involve payment disputes, defective work/remedial work disputes, professional negligence on construction projects, contractor insolvency and retention of title claims payment disputes under construction contracts.
You will be provided with the tools to develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the profitability of the Construction team in a friendly and supportive environment.
This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is a developing role to support the firm's growing Construction Litigation caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.
Requirements
- You will be a Construction Litigation Solicitor with 2 - 6 years PQE
- You will have a strong technical knowledge and good communication skills
- You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
- You will have strong business development capabilities
