About the firm:

A national law firm with offices across the country and an international reach.

About the role/ideal candidate:

  • Qualified solicitor/associate (2 - 8years PQE+) at a national firm or major regional practice) with experience and strong technical ability across a variety of non-contentious construction and engineering matters.
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious (or a mix of both) will be considered
  • Knowledge of the North West construction market with an established network of contacts is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent relationship and client handling skills, commensurate with experience. Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of self-sufficiency, combined with an awareness of the boundaries of own competence/authority.
  • Share, support and advocate the firm's purpose, vision and cultural principles.
  • Confident and effective communicator. Strong analytical and organisational skills, results driven and pragmatic.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure.
  • Change oriented with a positive, flexible approach towards the implementation of new initiatives.
  • Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team.
