Are you an Adults Lawyer seeking a flexible locum position within a Local Authority?
I am seeking an experienced Adults Lawyer to join a lovely team within a busy London Borough, dealing with a range of Adult Social Care work including:
- Providing advice on and the conduct of cases involving adult social services issues including general advice to the client department in respect of their obligations under the Care Act 2014
- Advising on the Council's responsibilities to persons who have no recourse to public funds, dealing with matters arising under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Dealing with matters arising under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 including deprivation of liberty safeguards and conduct of Court of Protection cases
The role will also offer the opportunity to undertake advocacy at the Court of Protection and County Court. The successful candidate will ideally have Local Authority experience and able to deal with a variety of Adult Social Care matters.
The successful candidate will be working on a remote basis for the foreseeable and my client will consider both full and part time applicants.
