Government Public Law Litigation Lawyer
£26 - 35ph
12 month contract - Full-time

Public Law Litigation Lawyer required to join a Government Department in London for a period of 12 months. My client is looking for a solicitor or barrister who is experienced in litigation and preferably public law to manage a high volume complex case-load.
The ideal candidate will have litigation experience from any background but will preferably have experience of dealing with public law matters. Experience in Judicial review is also highly desirable. Candidates from similar jurisdictions are welcome to apply to these roles.
The successful solicitor or barrister will be working within a supportive and friendly team and can expect to take on a busy caseload. As a Litigation Lawyer you will be expected to work independently and manage your own caseload subject to supervision. The client requires a solicitor/ barrister with effective case working skills in order to meet deadlines; this includes great communication, drafting and planning. A successful litigation lawyer will be working effectively with clients and colleagues alike and display a positive, open and helpful attitude in the conduct of their work. The role is currently available on a remote basis but flexible working patterns will also be available in the future.

- Fully qualified solicitor/ barrister
- Public sector experience is preferred
- Experience in Judicial review is also highly desirable
