Our client is a leading global property development company experiencing rapid growth. They have over 20,000 units globally in a number of interesting locations including London and The Maldives, and they are looking to double their offerings over the next few years.
The role:
They are looking for Group General Counsel to lead their small team of lawyers in Dubai and report to the Chairman and Group CFO.
You will have expertise in joint ventures, M&A, share purchase agreements, structuring, potentially IPOs. Cross border work and some exposure to financing agreements/documents would be an added bonus; real estate/project finance/debt finance experience or overall knowledge of these areas is also a plus but not a pre-requisite.
You will also have a strong understanding of real estate development contracts and exposure to the real estate sector, particularly commercial, high-end residential and hotels.
