A well-established financial services firm is looking for a Litigator or Contentious Regulatory Lawyer with 6-8 years’ PQE to join its in-house investigations legal team. From the outset, the Legal Counsel will be working on high profile cases and have exposure to senior stakeholders in the business.
Your New Role
The In-House Counsel will work alongside the legal team to support the business on a variety of investigations and enforcement legal matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on a variety of legal matters ranging from contentious regulatory matters and internal investigations to general litigation matters and more
- Identifying legal risk through the course of the investigation, advising the business on the best course of action for breaches and negotiating settlements
- Liaising with and instructing external Counsel when required
About You
Applications to this Legal Counsel role are invited from those who demonstrate:
- 6-8 years’ PQE as a Litigator or Contentious Regulatory Lawyer
- Investigations/enforcements experience gained in-house or in private practice
- If from private practice, in-house secondment experience is desirable
