A leading investment bank is looking for a Derivatives / Markets Lawyer to join its in-house legal team. Based in London, this Legal Counsel role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your New Role
The In-House Legal Counsel will advise the business on transactions across a variety of derivative asset classes not limited to fixed income, equities, rates and FX. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising the business and liaising with various internal departments on legal issues relating to IBOR transition implementation
- Providing transaction support to the business across all asset classes
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating associated legal documentation including master agreements, repo documentation
- Remaining up to date with existing and upcoming regulations which affects the business’ transactions
- Liaising with external counsel when required
About You
Applications to this Legal Counsel role are invited from Lawyers who demonstrate:
- 3-6 years of PQE in Derivatives / Markets
- Experience from a top law firm or financial services institution
- If from private practice, in-house secondment experience is desirable
