Legal Counsel - Capital Markets

A leading financial services institution is looking for a Lawyer with 7+ years of PQE in Capital Markets to join its in-house team as Legal Counsel. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, the In-House Counsel role is ideal for someone with expertise in equity capital markets who wants to take on a highly autonomous role and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Your New Role

As the newly placed Legal Counsel you will be working in the front office with the investment bankers, advising them on a range of legal matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on the execution of transactions relating to equity capital markets (initial public offerings, rights offerings) etc.
• Remaining up to date with existing and upcoming regulations which affects the business’ transactions
• Liaising with external counsel when required

The Candidate

The business wishes to hire an In-House Legal Counsel who demonstrates:

• Senior Associate/ Counsel/ Partner level
• 7+ years’ PQE in Equity Capital Markets gained with a top law firm or financial services institution
• If from private practice, in-house secondment experience is desirable
