LAW Absolute is  recruiting to an Adult Social Care Lawyer position on a three month contract basis with a local authority based in the Northern Home Counties.

Our client is a well regarded local authority who are looking to bring on board a capable and driven Adult Social Care Lawyer.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will be required to carry a full caseload dealing with matters including, but not limited to;  

  • Court of Protection,
  • No Recourse to Public Funds,
  • Mental Capacity,
  • SEN matters and
  • Judicial Reviews.

It is important that the successful candidate has strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and is comfortable carrying a full caseload from the outset. Candidates with experience from both the public and private sector are encouraged to apply for this position. The council offers a supportive and friendly team and good quality work, alongside an excellent benefits package. The role will be based at the councils offices, although due to the current situation remote working is available.
