About IVCC

Founded in 2005 with a $50.7 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), IVCC is a Product Development Partnership (PDP) established as a not-for-profit company and registered United Kingdom charity.  It aims to overcome the barriers to innovation in the development of new public health insecticides, and the development of new paradigms for more effective and efficient vector control. This is achieved through investing donor funds in research and development.

Malaria eradication will require vector control tools that address both indoor and outdoor transmission, and IVCC is now taking a more proactive role in identifying high probability of success/short time to market/high impact technologies for the control of outdoor biting mosquitoes that transmit malaria and other NTDs.  IVCC will continue to encourage a vibrant marketplace for ideas, funding selected proof of concept studies, making recommendations for further funding and support and brokering innovation partnerships that bring compatible technologies and innovators together.

Closing date for this role is 27th September 2020
