Property Litigation - 6 month contract. 5+ PQE. London

Our client is a reputable Top 50 firm in the City who is looking to engage a property litigation lawyer for a contract of 6 months in duration. The team are ranked in the legal directories and act for a range of residential and commercial property developers and companies, title indemnity insurers, housing providers, entrepreneurs, private investors, and occupiers of residential and commercial properties.

The team is known for its collegiate and highly collaborative culture. The successful individual will have support from the wider team and notable Partners but will have the opportunity to work autonomously on a diverse caseload.

The successful individual will manage a caseload involving commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, disputes concerning property contracts, property insolvency, adverse possession, rights of way, dilapidations, and restrictive covenants.

As well as possessing noteworthy experience in the above, candidates should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction)
• Upwards of 5 years' PQE in handling full and diverse property litigation caseloads
• Experience gained in international, city or leading regional firms
• The ability to work independently towards deadlines as well as part of a wider team
• Strong communication skills
• A keen eye for detail
• A client-centric ethos

The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice will also be highly desirable.
