Some extremely interesting work is on offer for a strong commercial and technology lawyer who is interested in moving into the fintech space. Working for this top financial services institution and with a senior expert in the field you will be supporting an extremely creative business, and the innovation teams present a hefty legal workload. You will be conducting advisory work on innovation projects, looking at blockchain law, and will be required to take a view and make decisions in relation to technology law. The role is client and customer facing as you be working with suppliers and must be comfortable teaming up with the business. Support is also required on complex large projects being conducted by senior management.
This is an important role dealing with the many high-profile innovations in this space. The bank is heavily investing in this area which is high on the CEO and General Counsel’s agenda. An in-house secondment or experience would be useful as practical experience is required rather than just technical knowledge.
