The Role

The firm are seeking to hire a commercially minded Intellectual Property Partner to join their established Cambridge Office.

You will be responsible for further building or developing your own client base in the region, adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the other Partners national to build the brand further ensuring future success for the department.

Therefore, you must be client facing, business development focused and entrepreneurial to increase their Intellectual Property presence. This opportunity will be based around your specialist areas; however, you will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of Intellectual Property or specialist knowledge in specific areas such as:

• Trademarks
• Design and Copyright
• IP licensing and exploitation
• Protection and enforcement
• IP rights
• Commercial Contracts
• and Partnership Agreements

Requirements

• You will be an Intellectual Property Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE +
• Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
• You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
