Professional Disputes Associate
Bristol
£50,000 - £65,000
A leading defendant firm in the heart of Bristol require an Associate to join their highly regarded specialist professional negligence team.
Associates have broad caseloads working with a number of specialist teams.
The professional liability team supports and defends a wide range of insurers and professionals across all disciplines, in relation to all aspects of professional liability claims from policy response, to litigation and any associated disciplinary matters. They provide dispute resolution support through mediation, arbitration and litigation. As well as specialising in
representing professionals before their regulators.
My clients Professional and Financial Disputes group advises both insurers and professional "insured" businesses on the complex commercial litigation which arises from alleged professional negligence.
The successful Associate will likely be 3-6 years PQE and will display excellent legal ability and initiative, as well as confidence in managing and prioritising a full and varied caseload.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation and commercial disputes experience in particular in relation to contractual claims, breach of contract, etc. Experience of professional indemnity and negligence would be beneficial but is not a necessity for this role.
