An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Childcare Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the North East on a locum basis for an anticipated period of 6+ months.

This is a great opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join a friendly team and work within a modern and supportive working environment.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will be required to:

  • Manage a full care caseload of approximately 12-15 cases in proceedings
  • Ideally conduct advocacy, including non-contested and contested hearings
  • Attend meetings and provide legal advice as required

This opportunity is to start as soon as possible and will be on a remote basis for the forseeable future.

Our client's offices are based in a city centre location and are easily accessible by public transport. We encourage candidates of all qualification levels to apply, such as those who have the full breadth of public childcare experience, to those who wish to build on their existing experience or are not qualified.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Sara Robinson in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
