The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate, with a particular focus on Insolvency Litigation, to join their buzzing Manchester office in the heart of the City.

A vast majority of the role will be focused on Contentious Insolvency work, on an international basis. You will be advising insolvency practitioners on a range of matters including administrations, liquidations, bankruptcy matters and statutory investigations. You will also support directors, bankrupts, creditors and third parties otherwise affected by insolvency proceedings.

In addition to insolvency litigation, you will assist the team with other general commercial litigation matters including contractual and commercial disputes, public law disputes, professional negligence, injunctions and reputation management work.

This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is a developing role to support the firm's growing caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with at least 5 years PQE +
• You should have strong experience and exposure in Contentious Insolvency matters
• The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients
• You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing
• You will have a meticulous eye for detail
