The Role

The firm are looking for a proficient Restructuring & Insolvency Partner to join their busy city centre department in Leeds.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Restructuring & Insolvency department, and more generally across the Corporate team and firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will deal with a broad client base covering many industry sectors, the sheer level of variety will make for an interesting caseload including charities, education, energy and renewables, retail and transport.

Your caseload will involve winding up and bankruptcy proceedings, reorganisation of businesses, administrations, liquidations, administrative receiverships, personal insolvency, director duties and financial restructuring.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.

Requirements

• You will be a Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
• You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
• You will have strong business development capabilities
• Experience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essential
