The legal counsel will be responsible for the provision of legal advice in order to support the operating divisions and group business functions.

Description

1. Assisting business units and group business functions in concluding a wide range of legal agreements, by advising, drafting and negotiating, including, but not limited to : -

  • Supply of services agreements
  • Purchase of goods and services agreements
  • Non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements
  • Exclusivity agreements
  • Binding and non-binding heads of terms and letters of intent
  • Licences

2. Supporting corporate finance, business units and group business functions with mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures

3. Assisting with activities relating to compliance matters including but not limited to Data Protection, Competition, Anti Bribery & Corruption and Modern Slavery

4. Managing and resolving disputes and third party claims made by or against the company

5. Assisting with corporate legal matters e. reorganisations, board minutes and corporate governance requirements.

6. Instructing, liaising with and managing external legal advisors.

  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge across commercial/corporate legal disciplines
