Environmental Solicitor

ENVIRONMENTAL/HEALTH & SAFETY SOLICITOR – NQ/3+ PQE - WEST YORKSHIRE – JOB REF:1861

The successful solicitor will be involved in designing innovative and practical solutions to complex problems on a range of legal issues. Responsibilities will include: advising on all aspects of environmental, health and safety and product safety regulatory work, working with the firm's transactional, projects and other teams to provide specialist SHE input on matters, drafting, reviewing and amending a range of documents including transactional documentation, statements under caution and regulatory advice, liaising and taking instruction from clients and attending client meetings. Ideally you will be an NQ+ PQE with experience gained in a leading regional or City firm. You must have experience in environmental and health and safety matters, experience in product stewardship matters would be seen as an advantage, know and understand how to best utilise information and research resources, be commercially astute and be current on key legal and business news, have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working and take ownership for achieving agreed objectives.
