Corporate Professional Support Lawyer

A top US firm, with one of the best ranked Corporate teams in London, is looking for a mid-level (3+ PQE) Corporate Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its internationally recognised group. 

The Role:

In this Corporate PSL role, you will provide support to the London Corporate team on all areas of corporate law. You will take on traditional PSL responsibilities but also have a focus on legal technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Corporate PSL, your key responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and maintaining standard form precedents and practice notes for the UK Corporate Practice Group.
• Responding to queries from Corporate fee earners.
• Advising the UK Corporate group on changes to corporate law, and updating internal materials / providing training where appropriate.
• Assisting with the management of legal technology products, such as document automation and due diligence tools.

Requirements:

To be successful in this Corporate PSL role, you will have an excellent academic background (a minimum 2.1 degree) and have at least 3 years’ PQE, with recent experience as a general corporate lawyer or PSL at a City firm.

PSL experience and exposure to capital markets work is preferred but not essential to the role.

This Corporate PSL role is full time but the firm will consider part-time applicants (3 or 4 days per week).
