An established and successful in-house legal department are seeking a litigation solicitor as they expand and take ownership of more work.
The current team of 6 have been instrumental in developing processes and managing all the legal work for the busy police force with great success, and they would now like a litigation solicitor (3-5 yrs PQE) to take on a broad caseload of work.
You will ideally be someone who is able to be proactive and able to deal with litigation matters early, or even before they happen, and your experience should include public liability claims, (claims for unlawful arrest and false imprisonment, assault/battery, malicious prosecution and misfeasance in public office), together with experience of general litigation claims, judicial review and debt recovery matters.
You should be able to manage matters with minimal supervision and have good advocacy experience, but can expect support from counsel. You can expect a market rate salary along with enhanced pension and holiday allowance. The role will allow for office and remote working with the expectation you will need to be flexible as you will be working on high profile and time sensitive matters.
