This public body is looking to hire a Legal & Regulatory Affairs Officer on a permanent basis. Joining a small legal team, within the wider risk management department, you will enjoy a varied role within a highly collegiate environment.
You will carry out high quality legal work in areas including debt capital markets, derivative and treasury management transactions, financial market regulations and wider public law matters.
You will provide support in both advisory and operational issues, produce relevant documentation, carry out compliance tasks, negotiate counterparty agreements and monitor financial sector regulatory and best practice developments.
You will be a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, or equivalent jurisdiction, and have experience ideally within the areas of debt capital markets and/or derivative and treasury management transactions. You will also have experience in and great understanding of financial market regulations. Candidates coming from a law firm or in-house financial services organisation are encouraged to apply.
Whilst currently working remotely due to Covid, the office is based in Central London and this is a full time position.
