THE ROLE:     
 
The highly rated Restructuring team advises financial institutions, turnaround and insolvency practitioners, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders on strategies for recovery and turnaround.  They also investigate causes of company failure and pursue claims against those responsible. They act for all major clearing banks as well as a wide variety of other lenders. The team is increasingly becoming involved in complex, high value restructurings at an early stage in the financial decline curve, with the aim of providing innovative solutions which improve returns to stakeholders and, in many cases, avoid an insolvency process altogether. 

THE CANDIDATE:       
 
The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a National firm or large regional practice.  Candidates must be technically excellent but, equally important and commercially aware.  They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a good academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a candidate with broad financial restructuring experience (with an emphasis on transactional, bank-led work and advisory experience).
