Personal Injury Fee Earner/Solicitor (EL PL)

JDI Legal - North East based specialist consultancy with over 21 years dedicated to a range of client law firms and in house legal teams are currently recruiting for an established law firm based within easy reach of public transport to work within their general PI Team.

The successful individual is likely to be a solicitor or legal executive with a background in personal injury claims and working to volume.  You will inherit an existing caseload of circa 100+ claimant PI files and specifically Employer’s Liability and Public Liability.  The caseload will largely consists of denied cases, a number of which are litigated. 

You will have client contact from the get go and be expected to liaise with third parties, insurance companies, legal representatives and medical agencies.  You will have responsibility for taking client instructions, providing advice, drafting documents, making appropriate investigations to establish the basis of the claim and negotiating liability and quantum to obtain a positive outcome.
