Solicitor - Corporate / Commercial | Newcastle City Centre | Salary DOE

My client is a dynamic and growing law firm. If you need a modern approachable law firm. They have just opened their Newcastle office as part of their expansion plans, this office currently houses their Corporate /Commercial team, but the long-term plan is to become a full service office.

Summary

My Client are seeking technically sound candidates with experience of advising on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including asset and business sales, M&As, re-organisations, shareholder agreements and investments, within a variety of sectors.

In addition to the requisite technical skills, you will be an ambitious self-starter who is well connected and enjoys business development activities. I am especially interested to hear from candidates motivated to progress their careers with the drive and capability to realise growth for the firm.

The candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor or FILEX (5+ years PQE, no upper limit)
• Commercially minded with business development skills to support plans for growth and develop your own career.
• Excellent technical, IT, client care and communication skills
• Able to lead on transactional and advisory corporate and commercial legal work, whilst knowing when to ask for supervision
• Self-motivated and professional
