The Role

This is a standout opportunity for a Company Commercial Lawyer or Partner to join a leading Top 200 UK Firm in Cambridge

The department is led by a Leagl500 ranked, highly regarded Partnership team who manage effectively. The overall ethos is best described and results orientated and team driven who encourage each other to perform in a collegiate environment.

You will be complimenting an already highly successful, high profile and high billing department; joining a team of likeminded hungry Lawyers at the very top of their game. Whilst highly successful, the team are not Partner top-heavy - offering plenty of opportunity to progress within the department.

The Company Commercial team is focused on high quality work for a range of regional and Clients across the county and nationwide. The caseload with depend upon your own experience and however the team services all areas of Company Commercial Property including:

  • Commercial Contracts
  • M&A
  • Partnership Agreements
  • Restructurings
  • Joint ventures

The firm offers access to an experienced support team and eager Trainee Solicitors who are ready to assist you.

You will be actively coached and encouraged to participate in business development and marketing; initially alongside the Partners which will then develop into you personally strategising, implementing and managing campaigns; for you to further build your own individual regional presence and client base.

This role is best suited to those who are entrepreneurial, with the ability to think outside the box, identifying areas of growth and pursuing them, with the full backing of a Top 200 UK heavyweight practice.

Requirements

  • You will be a Company Commercial Lawyer or Partner with 6 PQE +
  • (There is no upper limit in PQE)
  • You will have experience gained from a well-established regional or City firm.
  • You will have solid experience gained across all areas of Company Commercial Law
  • You will be ambitious to progress
  • Must have previous experience of assisting, having an active role in or a key interest in business development
