Highly Successful law firm in a wonderful Central London location with a truly International reach  aims to appoint an Insolvency Partner and head of Department.

You will ideally have developed a broad skill set in Insolvency and Corporate Recovery matters and now relish the chance of working on a variety of Insolvency, Restructuring and Corporate Recovery matters.

Our Client are looking to further develop a very successful and friendly contentious Restructuring and Insolvency team in London. The team advises well known turnaround and insolvency practitioners, company directors, shareholders and other stakeholders on strategies for recovery and turnaround.

They also investigate causes of company failure and pursue claims against those responsible. They act for most of the major insolvency firms and we also act for creditors, government departments and directors. Over the last decade they have built an increasing reputation for our contentious practice, having been instructed on a number of high-profile assignments.

This area of practice has been earmarked for significant growth in the next 12 months which is reflected in the marketing budget. Operating near Holborn close to the Roll Buildings and Inns of Court they are conveniently placed to offer a fast and efficient service to a home grown and international client base.

They have strong connections in Spain and South America which we are keen to develop. They are also members of ILAS, the International Lawyers and Accountancy Solutions network.

The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in an established Central London or regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but, equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They very much want team players with a strong client focussed approach.  We are looking for a partner with broad contentious insolvency experience (with an emphasis on investigation and directors’ duties and advisory experience). The ability to relate well to professional, experienced clients is also required. Candidates will need to have a following or portable business.
