Global engineering group and market leader seeks to recruit additional lawyers to support the business with bids and delivery of major UK projects.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with bids or project delivery teams you will advise on complex contracts such as ITT, risk management and management of disputes
- Negotiate and draft contracts (manufacturing, supply, maintenance, procurement, consortium, software licensing, technology transfer, JVs, agency, letter credits, securities, bonds and guarantees)
- Offer legal advice on a range of legal issues including procurement, compliance and company law
- Seek to resolve disputes with suppliers/customers or against the business.
We are looking for:
- UK qualified lawyers with a minimum of 4 years’ experience*.
- Trained with a well-regarded law firm
- Must have experience drafting, negotiating and advising on complex contracts preferably within the manufacturing, engineering or similar sector
- Additional European language would be a benefit
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
