Private Client Solicitor (Department Head), 4+ PQE, Shropshire, £60,000 to £80,000 (DOE) plus extensive benefits. PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR:
You will be required to have extensive private client legal services experience, an entrepreneurial flair, either legally qualified/registered and have or are working towards a significant Estate Planning qualification (e.g. STEP Certificate in Trusts & Estates), proven experience of managing and developing processes and procedures, management experience preferred but not essential. Responsibilities will include but not restricted to, proactively lead and manage the Private Client Legal Services team, develop, train and coach (including CPD) the team to maximise results, in line with and to exceed company expectations, produce appropriate MI and reports for internal and external stakeholders as required, advise around the implications of buying and selling trust and estate properties and transferring trust assets to advisers and clients, dealing with all aspects of trust administration and drafting Deeds of Variation, liaise with external and internal stakeholders where required and as a subject matter expert (SME) in Estate Planning, you will support the delivery of strategic product, proposition, process and system developments, working with both internal stakeholders and third-party partners by providing technical support. Confident, approachable and motivated, you will be highly organised and proactive with great attention to detail, have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, supporting a culture of ownership and teamwork, have a proven track record of achieving commercial targets within an estate planning, legal services or financial services environment and professional, articulate with excellent communication skills.
