EL / PL Litigator

I'm working with a leading personal injury firm based in Newton le willows who are looking for an experienced EL/PL Solicitor/ Litigator to join their Personal Injury team on a permanent basis.

Day to day your role will be:

*Manage own case load of EL / PL efficiently

*Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations in respect of quality and service

*Investigate liability / assessing quantum

*Litigation work subject to experience and expertise

*Drafting court documents where appropriate

*Court proceedings/compliance with pre-action protocols

*Advocacy as and when required

*Liaison with Counsel / Instructions to Counsel

*Negotiating settlements

*Prepare predictive costs calculations and possibly negotiate

*Undertaking Court Telephone Hearings

*Timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and management information systems

*Allocation of funds to appropriate client account

This is an excellent opportunity for development and progression within a leading law firm and to work within a highly reputable PI Team dealing with personal injury claims.
