Your new role

• Advise on AE Litigation Before the First Tier or Upper Tribunal, Debt Recovery in County Court and Prosecution, including where appropriate the instruction of Counsel.
• Advise the Compliance and Enforcement Team on cases that they are considering for enforcement action
• Advice on operational and policy developments within the AE Directorate
• Identify, advise on, and escalate decisions that create unmanaged legal risk
• Contribute to the Legal Services teams know how - sharing knowledge and actively participating in training

What you'll need to succeed

• Solicitor or Barrister qualified in England& Wales
• Experiences of providing pensions, commercial and regulatory advice
• Devising and implementing a case strategy
• Experiences of preparing cases for litigation
• Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
• Persuasive Negotiator
• Proactive and flexible
• Good team player
